Familiarisation period

 

One of the most fundamental goals of settling in is to build a stable and trusting relationship between the parents, the child and the new caregiver.

For many parents, the entry of their child into a daycare center is a big step and a process accompanied by many mixed feelings. In order for the child to follow its natural curiosity and explore the new environment independently, it needs a caregiver who provides support and security. It is very important to us that parents trustingly entrust their children to our care.

The familiarisation period depends on the child's situation. During the familiarisation period, parents have the opportunity to get to know us and our pedagogical approach by means of observation and discussions, and to reduce any uncertainties. The parents have the opportunity to inform the caregiver about the habits of their child.
